Angie Russell

Angie Russell

Angie Russell is a paralegal with 22 years of experience. Angie is a native Floridian who lived in Connecticut for 7 years prior to returning to Florida. She is the proud Mother of twins, both of whom serve in the United States Air Force. While residing in Connecticut she worked for Yale University. During her time at Yale, she worked for the Orthopedics Department at the Medical School and was later promoted to work in the Historical Manuscripts & Archives Department at Sterling Memorial Library. It was during this time that Angie went to night school at Branford Hall Career Institute to become a Paralegal. Angie began her paralegal career at News America Marketing (A News Corporation Company) as an Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Finance who signed all corporate contracts. Angie had interactions with house counsel and played an integral part in making changes to the corporate contracts. She was also involved in preparation of documents for litigation. After returning to Florida, Angie began working for a Criminal Defense Attorney in West Palm Beach. Angie then moved on to work for an Attorney who practiced Family Law, Wills, and Bankruptcy where she was able to broaden her knowledge of the legal environment. Angie left the legal field and was working for Perry Slingsby Systems where she was the liaison between the Florida and United Kingdom locations. She was highly involved with logistics and engineering data until the company permanently closed its United States location. Angie returned to her prior office doing Family Law and later moved on to an Insurance Defense firm. Angie has proven to succeed in every field, in which she has worked, and is knowledgeable in various fields of law. Angie joined Stone & Capobianco in 2017 as our Family Law Paralegal.

Deidre Smith

Deidre Smith

Deidre Smith is a paralegal with over 10 years experience in personal injury after leaving the St. Lucie County Clerk of Court’s office where she worked as a court clerk. She specializes in pre-litigation case management of all types of personal injury claims including, but not limited to, automobile accidents, dog bites, slip/trip and fall cases, and product and premises liability claims. Her knowledge and experience has assisted clients in gaining the maximum settlement recoveries. Last year she reports over $1,000,000.00 in settlement recovery for injured clients. She looks forward to working with you to maximize your recovery of damages resulting from a personal injury.

Julio Betancourt

Julio Betancourt

Julio E. Betancourt, Pre-litigation/Marketing Paralegal has been a resident of Jensen Beach for over thirty years and a Paralegal for over twenty years. Julio was born in Havana, Cuba and migrated to the United States with his parents and younger sister when he was two years old. Julio is fluent in Spanish. He grew up in Vineland, New Jersey where he graduated from Vineland High School in 1981.  Julio attended Indian River State College where in 1996 he received his A.S. degree in Legal Assisting and in 2000 his Associate of Arts degree. In 2002 he went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University. During his carrier he has worked in various areas of the law including criminal defense, family law and since 2000 primarily personal injury. He has primarily concentrated on assisting those who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others in car accidents, premises and product liability claims. Due to his strong communication skills he also enjoys marketing and interacting with colleagues in an effort to expand business and personal relationships.

Julio joined Stone and Capobianco in January 2018 where his daily responsibilities include meeting and signing up new personal injury clients, assisting clients with their property damage claims, investigations, contacting insurance carriers, medical providers, negotiating and settling cases.  Most important of all communicating with clients and assisting them with their immediate needs.

Julio is a member of the Community Development Committee of Habitat for Humanity in Saint Lucie County, and he also is involved with ARC of Martin County.  He also supports and participates with other community non-profit agencies such as Graceway Village delivering food to the homebound.

In his spare time Julio is an avid member of OrangeTheory in Jensen Beach gym. In the last few years he has also become an avid runner and organized the Stone and Capobianco Team for the Run to the Courthouse 5K in the Spring, bringing home the traveling trophy for largest team.

Bradley Eddison

Bradley Eddison

Bradley Eddison joined our firm in 2022. He is a Florida Registered Paralegal and member of the American Civil Liberties Union. He has experience in civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, and wrongful death. Bradley holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, an Associate of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies, and an Associate of Arts Degree from Indian River State College. He is a licensed Notary Public and has worked on cases in over forty counties across Florida.

Bradley is proud of his previous volunteer service as a Guardian ad Litem for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit and pro bono work on veterans’ benefits claims. He has helped recover millions of dollars for injured cigarette smokers and their families involved in Florida’s Engle progeny tobacco litigation.

His hobbies include running, boating, collecting, and traveling. Bradley has been to France, Italy, Bahamas, Aruba, Curaçao, and Grand Cayman. He is the proud owner of a piece of the Apollo 11 command module. He also collects meteorites and silver coins in his spare time.

Bradley begins law school in fall of 2023.
